Trying to keep an old blog alive, with spaceships...

Thought I would post up something different on this blog (seems kind of stupid posting the same thing on two different blogs) so you can has spaceships (plus it would be cool to get opinions on which ones you prefer) 3x 30min concepts and a render from a pen sketch. They're minmatar ships from E.v.e.
I dun mind putting these up since I've developed them since then.

EDIT: it's 3 in the morning, so excuse any crappy grammar. G'night

Map for Flex

3 days work!

And only a little cluttered...

Monday, 2 August 2010

Im nae dead. Some study for painting practice and a little friendly competition I entered. I was literally like 3 minutes late to the forum post, so I didn't actually get entered. Study was better 3/4 way through - it had some more brushwork and stuff visible.
Ive been doing something every day, so I might try and do more post worthy stuff.

New Scientist editorial: "Too much testosterone disrupts family life"

Pick one?

"In polygamous societies, men with high levels of testosterone in their saliva are more likely to take several wives and give their children less attention, compared to those with less of the sex hormone coursing through their bodies."

I'm a genius. And in case your thinking Its not close enough to illustration, check out the pre-photoshop job:

I dont want to, but I feel I should.
Some people asked me about em so these are my 'Nam competition entries.
Its about a Japenese Poet, Matsuo Basho who went wandering around Northern Japan.
Its 'aight.. I suppose, theres a couple of panels I like. But I ended up rushing this because my other project didn't finish until about a week before the competition deadline. Oh well - I did it, I learnt something, Ill move on.

Also, £5.00 for next day delivery... for like 4 pieces of paper? WTF Royal Mail.

Dunno what you chumps are up to, but i thought i better post something.
Actually been doing a fair bit of work, being working daily and posting it up on in my sketchbook, getting ..some.. feedback and whatnot. Also just whoring myself out. But i thought i should post some of my morsels.

Richard Armitage unfinished

I just found this one, I never finished it but I'm pretty proud of it because I was painting from my head onto a drawing also from my head.. and the likeness isn't too bad either.

Dooodles and goodness

A cd cover I did for Oggy's new single which I don't think will be used. On account of its really not what he asked for. I still like it ;P I'll redo it for him when hes not looking.

Alternate version:

As blocked as I've been for the last few months I think I've finally broken it! I actually woke up and wanted to draw this morning for the first time in a long time and all lot it seems to be loose and cartoony thus far. I can see a style in it now and I'm not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing. Both maybe?

I'd just been drawing loads of these, all static like and not alive which was bugging me:

Then finally some movement! :

Hair makes a totally different character alone..

Joe drew this...

So I drew this!

And something completely different.

Yay bletchskog!
