I definitely wanted the seedy back alley look, but the buzzing highway overhead was an element I also wanted. You've pretty much pointed out my main gripe though. I wish I could of got a darker more crowded feel to it. The idea of the bridge was to give that 'underneath' feel. Obviously I didnt pull it off... I think I know what went wrong though so :) Im learning.

ReplyDeleteDepending on what you were going for; I was thinking if you played down the light on the bridge it'd make it look so much more seedy back-alleyish.
